The nice thing is that his influence will continue on for years to come. I guess it shows that I am aging because I miss musicians like Joe, J.J. Johnson, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, and many others. Although their styles differed greatly I think it would have been truly amazing to see the four I mentioned on stage together jamming.
